Silver Oaks Homestay is located in the Kunda (close to Ponnoet : 30 Mins drive from Nagarahole). This area is in the Southern Coorg and as local people call it as a place perched 2500 meters above sea level at 250 kms from Bangalore, 100 kms from Mysore and about 170 kms from Mangalore.
The homestay is located by over 10 hectares of silver oaks trees, coffee and spice plantation. This homestay area is overlooking a large place of €œsacred jungle€Â( devara kaadu) and famous €œKunda hill€ at the height of 4500 ft above sea level for the people who love trekking. As the name of the homestay suggests it is all surrounded by Silver Oaks trees.
