The world of tourism and hospitality has changed significantly after the pandemic called COVID that swamped all industries affecting a large part of the population in India. The philosophy of the hospitality industry added a new chapter to its safety, hygiene, SOPs at hotels, resorts, restaurants, and homestays. The invisible virus which is still active in society has not created a scare for travelers but also enabled them to aware of the standard measures to expect wherever they traveled.

The current travel atmosphere is not only demanding for more clarity about the sanitization preparedness of the stays that one wants to visit.   2. Carry hand gloves if you are skeptic to touch surfaces at common places or activity area at homestays and resorts. Though the stays sanitize the area, you must be prepared for all situations. 
  3. If kids are traveling with you then you must take extra care about their activities. You never know if they run around and touch things fallen on the floor. 
  4. Sanitizers are must-carry items in your bag, car, and also in your pockets. They will come handy if at all you have to use it after touching the surfaces knowingly or unknowingly. 
  5. Wash hands frequently and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth unnecessarily. 
  6. Maintain social distancing at common areas, sightseeing places, or if you are visiting a restaurant other than dining at homestays or resorts.Â
